This chapter shall be known as the city of Point Arena "Permit Signoff Ordinance."

(1) 
The city of Point Arena issues permits including coastal development permits and conditional use permits, among others.
(2) 
The city of Point Arena contracts with Mendocino County planning and building for building permit processing and inspection.
(3) 
The city of Point Arena must conduct final inspections of permitted projects to ensure compliance with all terms and conditions of the permits.

(1) 
The city administrator shall submit to the county planning and building department the accompanying resolution which includes conditions of approval with each project's notice of final action.
(2) 
The county building inspection official will coordinate the date and time of the final building inspection with the city administrator to allow the city administrator to be included in the final inspection.
(3) 
The city administrator will verify that all conditions of approval have been satisfactorily met.
(4) 
If any conditions have not been met the city administrator will not approve the project for final occupancy.
(5) 
When all conditions of approval have been met, the city administrator will approve and signoff on the building permit.

The city of Point Arena planning commission may take action up to and including rescission of any cityissued permits for the project in question.
