If a building abuts a right-of-way in which there is a public sewer and the public sewer is within 200 feet of the nearest point of the building and the topography is not such as to make it impossible to connect to the public sewer, the owner shall connect the building with the public sewer at his or her expense after notice from the Town to do so. If these conditions do not exist, then the owner of the building may install a septic tank in compliance with the County of Napa's rules, regulations and ordinances governing septic tank installation and connection.
(Ord. 28, 1966; Ord. 318-01)
The Town or County may revoke a septic tank permit upon determination that the septic tank is not adequate for the purposes for which intended, or is not in operating condition, or constitutes a hazard to the health of any person, or constitutes a public or private nuisance.
