No person shall appear in any street or public place in the Township of Gloucester in a state of nudity or in a bathing suit unless there is worn over it an overcoat or proper covering; nor shall any person appear in an indecent or lewd dress or be guilty of any lewd or indecent act or behavior; and no person shall swim or bathe in the lakes or ponds and streams adjacent or near to any public highway or the said Township without wearing a full and complete bathing suit.

Each and every person violating any of the provisions of this article shall, upon conviction thereof, forfeit and pay a fine of not more than $500 or be imprisoned in the county jail for not more than 90 days, or both, in the discretion of a court of competent jurisdiction.
This article shall take effect as provided by law.
