City of Placentia, CA Chapter 2.04 ADMINISTRATION

§ 2.04.010 Bond of city clerk.

The city clerk, upon the entry to his or her duties of office, shall execute a bond to the city in conformity with bonds of public officers, and in conformity with the provisions of the Government Code of the state relating thereto, in the amount of $25,000.

§ 2.04.020 Bond of city treasurer.

The city treasurer, upon the entry to his or her duties of office, shall execute a bond to the city in conformity with bonds of public officers, and in conformity with the provisions of the Government Code of the state relating thereto, in the amount of $25,000.

§ 2.04.030 Peace officer and public safety dispatcher recruitment and training—Intention of city to receive state aid.

The city desires to qualify to receive aid from the state under the provisions of Chapter 1 of Title 4, Part 4 of the Penal Code of the state.

§ 2.04.040 Peace officer and public safety dispatcher recruitment and training—Adherence to state standards.

Pursuant to Section 13522, Chapter 1 of Title 4, Part 4 of the Penal Code of the state, the city, while receiving aid from the state pursuant to such Chapter 1, will adhere to the standards for recruitment and training established by the state commission on peace officer standards and training.

§ 2.04.050 Contract with State Employees' Retirement System.

A contract between the city council and the Board of Administration, California State Employees' Retirement System, is authorized, a copy of such contract being attached to Ordinance No. 269, on file in the office of the city clerk, such contract being marked "Exhibit A," and by such reference made a part hereof as though herein set out in full. The mayor is authorized, empowered and directed to execute such contract for and on behalf of such agency.
