Pursuant to the authority granted by Wis. Stats. § 349.11, the speed limits established by Wis. Stats. § 346.57 are increased as hereinafter set forth on the following streets or portions thereof:
(1) 
Thirty-five miles per hour on North Port Washington Road (County Trunk W) from the north village limits to the south village limits.
(2) 
Thirty-five miles per hour on East and West Brown Deer Road (Highway 32) from the west village limits to North Lake Drive.
(3) 
Thirty-five miles per hour on North Lake Drive (Highway 32) from East Brown Deer Road to the south village limits.

Pursuant to the authority created by Wis. Stats. § 349.11(3)(c), the speed limit established by Wis. Stats. § 346.57(4)(e) is reduced from 25 miles per hour to 15 miles per hour on that portion of West Ravine Baye Road at the location of the ravine-Fish Creek crossing and more particularly described as follows:
Commencing at a point 181 feet south of the southerly terminus of the guardrail protecting said ravine crossing and continuing 1,040 feet north to a point on the northerly side of the ravine crossing.

(a) 
In the interest of public safety and pursuant to Wis. Stats. § 349.07, the following streets or portions thereof are declared to be through highways; and traffic signs or signals giving notice thereof shall be erected and installed at the entrances thereto from all other intersecting streets and highways by the village manager:
(1) 
North Lake Drive from Highway 32 north to the Ozaukee County line.
(2) 
East and West Fairy Chasm Road from the village limits to the eastern terminus of such streets, except with intersection of North Port Washington Road.
(3) 
North Regent Road from the south village limits to Fairy Chasm Road.
(4) 
East Brown Deer Road from Highway 32 east to the eastern terminus of such street.
(5) 
East Bay Point Road from North Regent Road to North Lake Drive.
(6) 
East Ellsworth Lane.
(b) 
Vehicles approaching the following intersections shall be controlled as follows:
(1) 
All vehicles approaching the following intersections shall come to a complete stop:
a. 
North Lake Drive and East Fairy Chasm Road.
b. 
North Lake Drive and East Brown Deer Road.
c. 
North Iroquois Road and West Ellsworth Lane.
d. 
North Iroquois Road and West Manor Lane.
e. 
North Broadmoor Road at Fairway Drive and Southernmost intersection with North Waverly Drive.
(2) 
All vehicles approaching the state or county trunk highway shall come to a complete stop, except where traffic is controlled by automatic signals.

The driver of a vehicle approaching an intersection listed below shall yield the right-of-way to traffic as required by law and as indicated by official yield signs installed by the Village.
Pursuant to the provisions of Wis. Stats. § 349.07(7)(b), the village manager is hereby directed and authorized to install and maintain official "yield" signs at the following locations:

Pursuant to the provisions of Wis. Stats. § 349.065, the village manager is hereby authorized and directed to install stop signs requiring vehicles either northbound or southbound on North Lake Drive to stop at the Milwaukee-Ozaukee County line.

(a) 
"Class B" highways designated. All streets and alleys within the village are hereby designated "Class B" highways and shall be subject to the weight limitations imposed by Wis. Stats. § 348.16.
(b) 
Special and season weight limitations. The village manager shall have the authority to impose special or seasonal weight limits to prevent injury to the roadway of any highway, bridge or culvert within the jurisdiction of the village or for the safety of the users of such highway, bridge or culvert and shall be responsible for erecting signs giving notice thereof in accordance with Wis. Stats. § 349.16.
(c) 
Heavy traffic routes.
(1) 
The following streets and parts of streets within the village are hereby designated heavy traffic routes:
a. 
Regent Road from Fairy Chasm Road to the south limits of the village.
b. 
Fairy Chasm Road from North Lake Drive to the west limits of the village.
(2) 
No vehicle, except a motorbus, not equipped with pneumatic tires or having a combined vehicle load weight exceeding 6,000 pounds shall be operated or moved on any street or alley not part of the heavy traffic route designated in subsection (c)(1) of this section except for the purpose of obtaining orders for, moving or delivering supplies or commodities to or from a place of business or residence facing thereon; provided that in no event shall the weight, vehicle and load on such other street exceed the limitations of Wis. Stats. § 348.15 or 348.16(3) pertaining to Class "A" highways or deliveries on Class "B" highways or special or seasonal weight limits established pursuant to 47-35(b).
(3) 
Exemptions. This subsection shall not apply to state, county, municipality or emergency vehicles. Further exemptions from this subsection shall be made for those vehicles promoting the health, safety and welfare to the public.
(d) 
Compliance with posted limits. No person, firm or corporation shall operate vehicles upon said posted streets in violation of posted weight limits or restrictions.
(e) 
Penalties for violation.
(1) 
Any owner or operator of any vehicle causing or likely to cause injury to streets shall immediately suspend operation (except when Wis. Stats. § 884.20 is applicable).
(2) 
Citations in violation shall be issued against the person, firm or corporation holding the authority, certificates, licenses or permits evidencing operating privileges.
(3) 
Any individual, firm or corporation found to be in violation of this section shall be fined not less than an amount set by the village board of trustees from time to time.
(4) 
A conviction and fine as set forth in this section shall in no way limit the rights of the village seeking reimbursements for the actual damages that it incurs to its roadways, as well as reimbursement for the costs and expenses incurred by the village, including any legal fees.

The operator of any vehicle involved in an accident shall within ten days after such accident file with the village police department a copy of the report required by Wis. Stats. § 346.70, if any. If the operator is unable to make such a report, any occupant of the vehicle at the time of the accident capable of making such report shall have the duty to comply with this section.

(a) 
No driver of any vehicle, including motorcycles, all-terrain vehicles and bicycles, shall cause by excessive and unnecessary acceleration the tires of such vehicle or cycle to spin and emit loud noises or to unnecessarily throw stones or gravel, nor shall any driver cause any loud noise in a manner to disturb the public peace to be made by excessive and unnecessary acceleration.
(b) 
No driver of any vehicle, including motorcycles, all-terrain vehicles and bicycles, shall utilize such vehicle in a manner that constitutes disorderly conduct under subsection (a) of this section.
(c) 
No person shall operate or park, stop, or leave standing any vehicle, including motorcycles, all-terrain vehicles and bicycles, while using a radio or other electronic sound amplification sound device that emits sound from the vehicle that is audible under normal conditions from a distance of 75 or more feet, unless the electric sound amplification device is being used to request assistance or warn against an unsafe condition.
(d) 
Subsection (c) of this section does not apply to any of the following:
(1) 
The operator of an authorized emergency vehicle, including ambulances and police, fire department and snow removal vehicles, when responding to an emergency call or when in pursuit of an actual or suspected violator of the law or when responding to a fire alarm or as is otherwise necessary for the health, safety and protection of the citizens of the village.
(2) 
The operator of a public utility vehicle.
(3) 
The operator of a vehicle that is being lawfully used for advertising purposes.
(4) 
The operator of a vehicle that is being used in a lawful village or community event or celebration, procession or assemblage.
(5) 
The activation of a theft alarm signal device.
(e) 
Nothing in this section shall limit or create exceptions to the noise prohibitions set forth in the Code.

The speed limit established by Wis. Stats. § 346.57(4)(e), is reduced to 15 miles per hour when children are present on Ellsworth Lane between King Road and Pelham Parkway, on Pelham Parkway between Brown Deer Road and Ellsworth Lane, and on King Road between Rexleigh Drive and Ellsworth Lane.

(a) 
The operator of a vehicle shall not turn the vehicle so as to proceed in the opposite direction upon a street or highway at any of the following places:
(1) 
At any intersection at which traffic is being controlled by traffic control signals or by a traffic officer;
(2) 
At any place where signs prohibiting such turn have been erected by the village, county or state.
(b) 
The operator of a vehicle shall not back the vehicle into an intersection at which turns are prohibited by subsection (a)(1) of this section, for the purpose of turning the vehicle so as to proceed in the opposite direction upon the road or highway.
