Fees may be charged to cover costs to retrieve, photocopy, produce and/or mail public records and/or documents upon request. Said fees shall be set by resolution of the city council. In the event that document(s) are requested which require extensive file research time, lengthy copying, and/or involve high mailing costs, the city official who has custody of such document(s) shall charge and collect a fee therefor, which fee shall reasonably reflect the cost to produce such document as determined by that city official with the approval of the city manager.

A fee may be charged for each public record that is certified by the city clerk to be a true and correct copy of the original public record on file in the office of the city clerk. Said certification will bear the city seal and an original signature of the city clerk. Said fee shall be in addition to fees charged for photocopies or mailings of public records. Said fee shall be set by resolution of the city council.
