Except as provided in this chapter, the California Mechanical Code, 2025 Edition, shall be and become the mechanical code of the city, regulating and controlling the design, construction, installation, quality of materials, location, operation and maintenance of heating, ventilating, cooling, refrigeration systems, incinerators and other miscellaneous heat producing appliances in the city of La Habra.

The 2025 California Mechanical Code is hereby amended as follows:
CMC Division II, Scope and Administration, Sections 101.0 through 107.0, inclusive of Table 104.5, are deleted in their entirety. Refer to this code, Section 15.04.020, Administrative Provisions, for the administration of the CMC.
