There is hereby established a City
Seal.

The City Seal shall consist of an
outer circle and an inner circle. The outer circle shall contain the
words "City of Lake Oswego" around the top of the circle and "Oregon"
around the bottom of the circle.
The inner circle shall contain a
sail boat with two sails sailing on water with hills, Mount Hood and
sky in the background.

The Seal may be in shades of black
or shades of blue or may be colored. The coloring shall be a yellow
outer circle, with a white sail boat and white Mount Hood. The water
shall be dark blue with light blue sky and green hills.

The City Seal shall be used on all
stationery, City vehicles, City reports and other appropriate City
documents and signs. Notwithstanding the foregoing, a logo honoring
the City’s Centennial in the form shown in LOC Appendix 12.38.1830-A
may be displayed in lieu of the City Seal.

In order to be fiscally responsible
supplies of existing stationery shall be exhausted prior to converting
to the new seal.
