The State of Oregon Plumbing Specialty Code as now constituted or as may hereafter be amended by the State of Oregon, is hereby made the Plumbing Code of the City of Lake Oswego, and is enacted and adopted by this ordinance as though set forth at length. Such Plumbing Code shall be kept in the office of the City Building Official for use and examination by the public.

The Building Official of the City of Lake Oswego is hereby authorized to administer and enforce the provisions of the plumbing code as, adopted in LOC § 46.02.010. Whenever the term "administrative authority" is used in the Uniform Plumbing Code, it shall be held to mean the Building Official.

Rain, stormwater, and other runoff from impervious roof areas shall be drained by means of a gutter and downspout system, in the manner as required by the Oregon Plumbing Specialty Code (adopted as part by the Lake Oswego Building Code by LOC § 45.09.030) and shall be conveyed to an approved point of discharge as required by LOC Art. 38.25 (i.e., stormwater facility or stormwater conveyance system).

It shall be unlawful for any person, firm or corporation to erect, construct, enlarge, alter, repair, move, improve, remove, convert or demolish, equip, use, occupy or maintain any building or structure in the City, or cause the same to be done, contrary to or in violation of any of the provisions of the Plumbing Code.
