It is unlawful to store or keep gunpowder in excess of one pound within the City of Molalla; provided, that not more than five pounds of gunpowder may be kept in closed metal canisters in a storeroom or wareroom away from artificial heat or light; and, provided further, that not more than 50 pounds of gunpowder may be kept if in a magazine made of fireproof material or of wood covered with sheet iron and mounted on wheels, and kept securely locked, except when necessarily opened for use by authorized persons, and not more than 1,000 blasting caps in a similar but separate magazine. Said magazine shall be conspicuously labeled "EXPLOSIVES" in red letters at least four inches high.

It is unlawful for any person to ignite, discharge, or permit to be ignited or discharged, any firework as defined in ORS 480.110(l) or any sparkler or other combustible or explosive device prepared for the purpose of providing a visible or audible effect by combustion, explosion, deflagration or detonation within 50 feet of any route designated by the City as a parade route, within one hour prior to the commencement of said parade and continuing until 30 minutes after the completion of the parade.
