Commissioners who are currently in office, whose terms have not expired, shall for the remainder of his or her current term receive the salary which was set for the office of Commissioner as of the date his or her term began. If any such Commissioner is elected to serve a new subsequent term beginning after January 1, 2026, the salary to be paid to the reelected Commissioner shall be increased to $4,000 per year effective at the beginning of the term for which her or she may be re-elected after January 1, 2026.
In the event that any provision, section, clause or part of this article shall be held to be invalid, such invalidity shall not affect or impair any remaining provisions, sections, sentences, clauses or parts of this article, it being the intent of the Township of Colebrookdale that such remainder shall be and remain in force and effect.
All ordinances or parts of ordinances conflicting with any of the provisions of this article are hereby repealed insofar as the same affects this article.

The compensation to be paid to the Elected Tax Collector by Colebrookdale Township shall be 1.5% of all the Township taxes of Colebrookdale Township received or collected, but in no event shall that amount exceed $10,000.
