As used in this chapter, the following words and phrases shall have the meanings set forth below.
shall include all of the following named streets and portions of streets:
Grand Avenue, from the easterly right-of-way line of Spruce Street to the westerly right-of-way line of Hickory Street;
Valley Parkway, from the easterly right-of-way line of Centre City Parkway to the westerly right-of-way line of Valley Boulevard;
Second Avenue, Third Avenue and Fourth Avenue, from the easterly right-of-way line of Centre City Parkway to the westerly right-of-way line of Ivy Street;
Broadway Avenue, from the northerly right-of-way line of Fifth Avenue to the southerly right-of-way line of Woodward Avenue;
Ivy Street, from the northerly right-of-way line of Second Street to the southerly right-of-way line of Pennsylvania Avenue;
Juniper Street, Kalmia Street, Broadway, Escondido Boulevard and, all from the northerly right-of-way line of Fifth Avenue to the southerly right-of-way line of Pennsylvania Avenue;
Orange Street and Maple Street, from the northerly right-of-way line of Fifth Avenue to southerly right-of-way line of Valley Parkway.
within the meaning of this chapter, will be as set from time to time by resolution of the city council.
shall mean the space adjacent to a curb reserved for the exclusive use of vehicles during the loading or unloading of passengers or materials.
shall mean a mechanical device installed within or upon the curb or sidewalk area, immediately adjacent to a parking space, for the purpose of controlling the period of time such parking meter space is occupied by any vehicle.
shall mean that portion of a street other than a roadway or a sidewalk.
zone shall mean that space adjacent to a curb reserved for the exclusive use of vehicles during the loading and unloading of passengers.
shall mean the same as "peace officer" as defined in Penal Code, Section 7.
shall mean the Vehicle Code of the State of California.
