The following words, terms and phrases, when used in this chapter, shall have the meanings ascribed to them in this section, except where the context clearly indicates a different meaning:
"Motion picture"
includes videotape and television.
"Picture arcade"
means any place to which the public is admitted wherein one or more coin-operated or slugoperated, or electrically, electronically or mechanically controlled, still or motion picture machines or projectors are maintained to show still or motion pictures to five or fewer persons per machine at any one time.

No person, either as owner or lessee, or as employee, agent, partner, director, or officer of owner or lessee, shall operate or maintain any picture arcade unless the entire interior of the premises wherein the still or motion pictures are viewed is visible upon entrance to the premises. No partially or fully enclosed booths or partially or fully concealed booths shall be maintained.

Any person violating any of the provisions of section 9.12.020 shall be guilty of a misdemeanor.
