Every main or primary building shall have an identifying number
posted and maintained on the front or street side facade of the main
structure indicating the street address. The figures indicating the
address shall be permanently affixed to the outside of the structure.
The figures shall also be at least three inches high, comprised of
a color that is in contrast to the background of the structure and
shall be positioned at a height where they are visible from the street.
In addition to being posted on the structure, numbers for commercial
buildings may be posted on a sign that is located on the same premises
as the building and that is visible from the street.

It shall be the responsibility of each property owner and of
each person having control over the property to ensure that a number
required to be posted and maintained on such property is posted at
all times. Any property owner or person having control over the property
failing to number any main or primary building, or if after receiving
notice to do so from the city shall continue in his failure to so
number such main or primary building, shall be fined.
