When signs are erected giving notice thereof, no person shall
operate any vehicle, motor vehicle, truck-tractor, trailer or semi-trailer,
with a gross weight in excess of the amounts specified on such signs
at any time upon any of the streets or parts of streets so signed.
Under this division, as vehicle weight is indicated by the number
of axles supporting such vehicles, signs limiting the number of axles
on through vehicles shall be official.

When signs are erected stating "No Through Trucks," no person
shall operate any commercial vehicle exceeding 8,000 pounds of gross
weight at any time upon any of the streets or parts of streets so
signed, except that such vehicles may be operated thereon for the
purpose of delivering or picking up materials or merchandise and then
only by entering such street at the intersection nearest the destination
of the vehicle and proceeding thereon no farther than the nearest
intersection thereafter.

In accordance with this article and when signs are erected giving
notice thereof, no person shall operate any vehicle in violation of
this article on the following streets and the following streets shall
have signs erected thereon:
(1) Fifth
Street from the West boundary line of Kenney Street to the East boundary
line of State F.M. 359;
(2) Sixth
Street from the West boundary line of Kenney Street to the East boundary
line of Bains Street;
(3) Seventh
Street from the West boundary line of Gresham Street to the East boundary
line of Bains Street.
