Except as may otherwise be provided herein, the provisions of the 2024 edition of the "Standard Specifications for Public Works Construction" (popularly known as the "Greenbook"), written and promulgated by Public Works Standards, Inc. a mutual benefit corporation, together with such changes as may be published in pamphlet form as amendments to the 2024 edition in each of the two years between publication of a new edition of the Greenbook, are adopted and applicable to all public works construction undertaken after the effective date of this ordinance. One copy of the Standard Specifications for Public Works construction shall be on file with the Department of Public Works, and said Standard Specifications for Public Works Construction is adopted by reference as if incorporated and set out at length in this Chapter.
