A.
Whenever real property owned by the city is not needed for public use, or when the public interest is furthered, the city may sell, exchange, or convey the city's interest in the property. At a public meeting, the city council must make a finding that the public interest will be furthered.
B.
If the city council decides to dispose of the property, it will direct the city manager or designee to take appropriate action.
C.
The city council has the final authority to approve or disapprove the final terms of the disposition.
