As used in this chapter, the term "skate park" means the skate facility owned and operated by the city of San Dimas in Pioneer Park that is identified by sign as the "San Dimas Skate Park."

The following regulations shall apply within the designated skate park:
A.
No person shall skate or skateboard at times other than those established as the hours of operation. The hours of operation shall be dawn to dusk;
B.
No person shall skate or skateboard when the designated skateboard park area is wet;
C.
Only skateboards and in-line skates are allowed in the designated skateboard park area. Bicycles, scooters, or other wheeled toys are prohibited;
D.
Any person riding, skating, propelling, or using a skateboard, roller skates, in-line skates, or similar device at the skate park shall wear a helmet, elbow and knee pads, and wrist guards at all times.

Any person who does not follow the guidelines outlined in Section 10.19.020 is guilty of an infraction.

A violation of this chapter or of any provisions thereof is punishable as provided in Section 1.12.030.
