The city of Riverton, Wyoming adopts that certain code entitled "Riverton Municipal Code" containing certain ordinances of a general and permanent nature as compiled, consolidated, codified and indexed in Titles 1 through 18, of which code not less than one copy is now filed in the office of the city clerk.

This code shall be referred to as the "Riverton Municipal Code" or "RMC." Such reference shall apply to all future amendments, corrections, additions and deletions made hereto. References in city forms, documents and regulations to the chapters and sections of the former city code shall be construed to apply to corresponding provisions contained within this code.
