The city will not allow any patches in new asphalt or concrete surfaces for a period of three years from the date of installation, unless approved by the director of public works.

There will be a cash deposit required on all trench repairs, except for public utilities. Such cash deposit shall be in an amount determined by the director of public works.

In the event there are unsatisfactory repairs, the public works department shall be empowered to hire a contractor or use city forces to effect the satisfactory repair, with all costs, including overhead and attorney fees, to be included in the billing to the contractor causing the unsatisfactory repairs.
