Pursuant to the codes, the city council prohibits any person from operating, propelling, riding on any skateboard, roller skate or similar device upon any roadway, including any street, highway, bikeway, sidewalk, mall or plaza walkway areas, in any commercial and/or office professional districts within the city.

It is unlawful for any person to violate any provision or fail to comply with any requirement of this chapter. Any person violating any provision of this chapter or failing to comply with any requirement is deemed guilty of an infraction in accordance with Chapter 1.12 of the municipal code.
