Division 1 of Title 11 of the Los Angeles County Code (the Health
Code), as amended and in effect on August 1, 1998, is hereby adopted
by reference as the Health Code of the City of West Hollywood.
A certified copy of Division 1 of Title 11 has been deposited
in the office of the City Clerk of the City of West Hollywood, and
shall be at all times maintained by the Clerk for use and examination
by the public.

Any person violating any of the provisions of this chapter is
guilty of a misdemeanor and shall be deemed guilty of a separate offense
for each and every day or portion thereof during which any violation
of any of the provisions of this chapter is committed, continued or
permitted, and upon conviction is punishable by a fine not exceeding
$1,000 or by imprisonment in the County Jail for a period not exceeding
six months or by both such fine and imprisonment.
