There is created an Appeals Board for the City, and the City
Council shall sit ex officio as the Appeals Board (“Board”).

A.
The Board shall hear appeal orders, decisions, or determinations made by the Building Official relative to the application and interpretation of the non-administrative (technical) requirements of the California Building Code. The Appeals Board shall hear appeals pursuant to the procedures contained in Chapter 15.03 of this Code.
B.
The
Board is authorized to adopt rules and regulations to carry out its
purpose and function pursuant to the applicable provisions of this
Code.

A.
The
Board shall meet at City Hall or at such other location as may be
designated In advance by the Board. The Board shall meet at such time
and day as the Board may establish, and as frequently as necessary
to carry out the purposes of the Board.
B.
Three
members of the Board shall constitute a quorum. Any ruling, decision
or other action of the Board shall be made by a full quorum of the
Board.
C.
The
Board shall cause proper records to be kept of its minutes, actions,
findings and determinations. The records shall be forwarded to the
City Clerk for filing.
