Bicycle.
A device upon which any person may ride, propelled by a motor
with any type of power source or by human power through a belt, chain,
or gears, and having one or more wheels. Bicycle includes motorized
bicycles or mopeds as defined in Section 406 of the California Vehicle
Code, but does not include a motorcycle as defined in Section 400
of the California
Vehicle Code, a motor-driven cycle as defined in
Section 405 of the California
Vehicle Code, or a Shared Bicycle as
defined in this section.

No person shall remove, destroy, mutilate or otherwise alter
the serial number permanently stamped or cast on its frame by the
bicycle manufacturer.

No person shall ride a bicycle on any sidewalk except at a driveway;
provided, that a person may ride a bicycle on any area designated
by the City Council as a bikeway.
