The city council will hold regular meetings at the hour of nine a.m. on the second and fourth Thursday of each month at the city council chambers located at 15651 East Stafford Street, in the city of Industry, California.

In the event that the office of a city council member becomes vacant prior to the expiration of its term, the city council shall, within thirty days from the commencement of the vacancy, either fill the vacancy by appointment or call a special election to fill the vacancy. Any person appointed or elected to fill a vacancy shall serve for the remainder of the unexpired term of the vacant office.
A special election called to fill a vacancy on the city council shall be held on the date prescribed by the council, which date shall be at least seventy-five but not more than eighty-nine days after the notice of the election is published by the city clerk. Except as otherwise provided by an ordinance or the Charter of the city, such election shall be conducted in accordance with the provisions of the Elections Code relating to municipal elections.
