It is unlawful for any person to be in a park during the hours of park closure. Unless the Public Works Superintendent or designee designates otherwise, "hours of park closure" means anytime between the hours of 11:00 p.m. and the following 5:00 a.m. with the exception of the following park: It is unlawful to be in Eben Carruthers Park between the hours of 10:00 p.m. and the following 5:00 a.m.

This chapter shall not apply to the following, which are affirmative defenses:
A. 
Persons at scenic viewpoints when parking areas are provided.
B. 
Pedestrians crossing park area between the two paved portions of one street or boulevard.

As used in this chapter, unless the context requires otherwise, "park" means any publicly or privately owned real property placed under the jurisdiction of the City of Warrenton for park or recreational purposes, and includes all land granted to the City for such purpose.

Any person who violates this chapter commits a violation punishable by a fine of not more than $100.00.
