A. 
Any person who reports or causes any report to be made to any city officer or employee, or other public officer or employee, that a condition exists which is prohibited by city ordinance or regulation, knowing that such report is false, is guilty of a misdemeanor.
B. 
No person shall make any report to the chief of police or any of his or her staff or to any peace officer, based on information which such person knows to be false in whole or in part with the intention of deceiving the person receiving the report.

A. 
Definitions. For the purpose of this section, the following definitions shall be applicable:
"Alcoholic beverages"
means alcohol, spirits, liquor, beer, wine or any other liquid which contains one-half of one percent or more of alcohol by volume, or as otherwise defined by the State Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control.
"Open container"
means and includes, but is not limited to, any bottle, can, jar or jug, vessel or other receptacle which is open, has been opened, or which has a seal broken, or the contents of which have been partially removed.
B. 
Open Containers Prohibited. It is unlawful for any person to drink or consume, or have in his or her possession, an open container containing any alcoholic beverage or any intoxicating liquor, as defined in this section, in or upon any of the public places described as follows in the city:
1. 
In or upon any public highway, street, way or alley;
2. 
In or upon any public sidewalk;
3. 
In or upon any public or municipal parking lot;
4. 
Within 50 feet of any public highway, parking lot, alley, sidewalk, way or street, while on private property open to public view without the expressed permission of the owner, his or her agent, or the person in lawful possession of the private property.

A. 
It is unlawful for any person to discharge any rifle, gun, shotgun, pistol, revolver or other firearm, or any air rifle, BB gun, pellet gun, spring gun, or other instrument from or by means of which any bullet, shot, pellet or other missile of any kind may be projected, or any other dangerous or deadly weapon, within the corporate limits of the city.
B. 
The provisions of this section shall not apply to the use of firearms at a bona fide target range, gun club, or organizations or educational institutions authorized to give military instruction while such firearms are being used as a part of such instruction.
C. 
Nothing contained in this section shall apply to or prevent the use and firing of weapons, as referenced in subsection A of this section, by duly appointed peace officers or animal control officers while acting within the scope of their employment or in the performance of their duties as such peace officers or animal control officers, nor by licensed pest control entities or exterminators, acting within the scope of their license upon approved permit.

Any person violating any provision of this chapter or failing to comply with any of its requirements shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon conviction shall be punishable as provided in Section 1.16.010.
