In order to improve and maintain access into security gated communities for fire and police department personnel responding to calls for assistance, it shall be required that all gated communities install a frequency activated gate opener.

The openers described above shall have a dedicated frequency required by the city. Such frequency shall be available only to the public safety agencies.

All gate requests for controlling vehicular traffic into private interior streets of any gated communities shall be reviewed by the city administrative committee for compliance with this chapter.
