[Adopted 2-18-1986 by Ord. No. 83, effective 3-30-1986]
The Board of Selectmen of the Town of Harwinton is authorized, but not directed, to use Town highway equipment and Town employees for the purpose of plowing snow and sanding portions of certain passways owned or controlled by the Lake Harwinton Association as set forth in Exhibit "A" attached hereto.

"Emergency" shall mean any road condition due to snow or ice which in the opinion of the Board of Selectmen, or its designee, renders the above passageways dangerous to the vehicular traffic. Under no circumstances, however, shall the Town provide any other maintenance of said roads or passageways.
Concerning Wildwood Passway, the Town is not to plow or sand the entire 1,050 feet until a suitable turnaround, acceptable to the Board of Selectmen, is constructed.
This article, and any action of the Selectmen in pursuance hereof, shall not be deemed a general dedication of the above roads to public use, acceptance of such roads by the Town, nor the assumption by the Town of any maintenance responsibilities.
