A.
A certain document, one (1) copy of which was placed on file in the office of the City Clerk, said copy being marked and designated as the International Mechanical Code, 2021 Edition, as published by the International Code Council, as amended, be and is hereby adopted as the Mechanical Code of the City; and all of the regulations, provisions, penalties, conditions, and terms of the International Mechanical Code, 2021 Edition, as published by the International Code Council, are hereby referred to, adopted and made part thereof, as if fully set out in this Article with the additions, insertions, deletions, and changes prescribed in this Article.
B.
Jurisdictional Titles Throughout the International Mechanical Code, 2021 Edition, as published by the International Code Council. Wherever the terms "Name of Jurisdiction" or "Local Jurisdiction" appear, it shall be deemed to mean "City of Dardenne Prairie, Missouri."
C.
Wherever the term "Department of Mechanical Inspection" appears it shall be deemed to mean the a department consisting of the City Engineer and the Code Enforcement Officer of the City of Dardenne Prairie, Missouri, and their designees.
D.
Wherever the term "Code Official" appears, it shall mean the City Engineer or the Code Enforcement Officer of the City.
