This article establishes a retirement plan for the firefighters of the Township through the adoption of the Township of Spring Firefighters Retirement Income Plan, effective January 1, 2008, as amended from time to time.
In the event that any provision, section, sentence, clause or part of this Retirement Plan shall be held to be invalid, such invalidity shall not affect or impair any remaining provision, section, sentence, clause or part of the Retirement Plan, it being the intent of the Township that such remainder shall be and remain in full force and effect. (The Township of Spring Firefighters Retirement Income Plan has been omitted due to length and may be viewed in its entirety at the Township office.)
