§ 275-107 Driving while under the influence of alcohol, other drug, or combination thereof.

It shall be unlawful for any person to drive a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol, other drug, or combination thereof.

§ 275-108 Crashes.

The driver of a vehicle which has collided with, or been in a crash with any vehicle, person or property in such a manner as to cause injury or damage, shall stop immediately or as close thereto as possible, and render such assistance as may be possible, and give his true name and residence to the injured person or any other persons requesting the same on behalf of the injured person, or the owner of the property damaged, and to a police officer, if one is present. Any such crash shall be reported to the nearest police authority promptly after such crash.

§ 275-109 Requirement for carrying liquor in vehicles.

Except as otherwise permitted by 625 ILCS 5/11-1502, 235 ILCS 5/6-6.5 and/or 235 ILCS 5/6-33, no person shall transport, carry, possess or have any alcoholic liquor in, upon or about any motor vehicle except in the original package with the seal unbroken.

§ 275-110 Violations and penalties.

Any person found violating any provision of this article shall be fined as designated in § 1-12 of the Village Code for each such offense.[1]
