The Mayor of the Town is authorized to designate a legally qualified member(s) of the Washington State Bar, admitted to practice, to advise the Mayor, Town Council and officials of the Town on legal matters pertaining to Town business. The Mayor's appointment of the Town Attorney shall be final upon confirmation by the Town Council.

The Attorney selected as set out in Section 2.08.010 shall be compensated for such services at the rates and amounts as approved by the Mayor and the Town Council.
