The purpose of the aquatic SED is to protect, restore, and manage the unique characteristics and resources of the areas waterward of the OHWM.

Any property owner that proposes to undertake development, modifications, or alterations on any areas of the aquatic SED belonging to Cascade Water Alliance (CWA) shall provide written verification from CWA authorizing the property owner to undertake such actions, modifications, and/or development(s) on any properties owned by CWA in the form of a license agreement. A copy of the license agreement shall be a required element of any applications filed with the city.
