The 2022 Design and Development Guidelines, published by the city of Centralia engineering department, together with any amendments thereto, are adopted by this reference.

Pursuant to RCW 35.21.180, at least one copy of the document set forth above shall remain on file in the office of the city clerk for the use and examination by the public.

The Design and Development Guidelines manual has been prepared to provide a graphic and written representation of minimum standards for construction of public improvement within the public right-of-way, easement, city properties, and on private property relating to utilities which are connected to the utility systems maintained by the city of Centralia. The application of the city standards has been coordinated with the 2022 Standard Specifications for Road, Bridge, and Municipal Construction prepared by the Washington State Department of Transportation and the American Public Works Association. Revision or additional specifications may be prepared from time to time by the city engineering department, and shall become a part of this chapter.
