It is unlawful for any person to fire, shoot or discharge any revolver, pistol, gun, BB gun, air rifle, air pistol or to detonate any bomb or other explosive at any place within the corporate limits of the town; provided, however, that nothing contained in this section shall be construed as prohibiting the discharge of firearms by any peace officer while in the exercise of his official duties as such officer.

Any person, or persons, found guilty of violating any of the provisions of this chapter shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and shall be punished by a fine of not more than $300.00, or imprisonment not to exceed 90 days, or both, and the devices made illegal by this chapter shall be forfeited by the person or persons violating this chapter and the same shall be confiscated by the town of Coulee Dam.
