No cigarette or other tobacco product may be sold, offered for sale, or distributed by or from a vending machine or appliance, or any other device designed or used for vending purposes, except where minors are prohibited from entering without adult supervision.

Violations of this chapter are misdemeanors and are subject to a fine of one thousand dollars per day for each violation. The health officer and sheriff and their deputies shall enforce this chapter.

The court assessing the fine set forth in Section 7.70.020 shall to the extent allowed by law designate said fines for the county health department and sheriff to support the costs of inspection for violations of this chapter.
