There is authorized to be paid to any person, who furnishes to the city information leading to the identification and conviction of any person who has willfully or maliciously damaged, injured, destroyed or removed without proper authority municipal property in violation of ordinances of the city, a reward in the amount of $150.00.

A single reward shall be payable in the sole discretion of the mayor to any one or more persons for information with respect to a single occurrence as hereinabove described, except that rewards shall not be payable to any employee of the city while performing in the line of duty.
