City of Colville, WA Chapter 2.42 PUBLIC WORKS DIRECTOR

§ 2.42.010 Position established.

There is established the position of public works director as of August 1, 1985.

§ 2.42.020 Appointment and confirmation.

The public works director shall be appointed by the mayor, and such appointment shall be confirmed by a majority of the council.

§ 2.42.030 Powers and duties.

The duties of the director of public works shall be implementing the requirements of city ordinances and the policies of the city council for street, water/sewer and sanitation departments, and the public works director will assure the effective utilization of city employees, funds, materials facilities and time in each department.
