The Town shall pay one-half of the premium costs payable by the surviving spouse of an employee who at the time of the employee’s death was eligible to receive a pension from the appropriate state or county retirement system, or of such a retired employee for group general, or blanket hospital, surgical, medical, dental or other health insurance.
