A.
The borough will exercise reasonable diligence and care to deliver a continuous and sufficient supply of water to the customer at a proper pressure and to avoid any shortage or interruption in delivery.
B.
The borough will serve water at the pressure available and will reduce the pressure where necessary to protect the piping and, within reasonable limits, as satisfactory to the customer. Where pumping is required to serve a customer at too high an elevation to be served by gravity, the borough may, at its option, require the customer to provide a suitable pump as a condition of service. The installation shall be subject to approval by the public works director.
