(a)
No driveway shall be hereafter installed off of any public street in the city to privately owned property unless, at the time of such improvement, there will be installed thereat a paved asphalt or concrete driveway the full width of the curb opening, extending from the curb line to the front property line of the abutting property, in design and workmanship in accordance with good engineering standards and city specifications, which will also provide for continuity of sidewalks, existing or required.
(b)
No curb or gutter on any street shall be cut for use as a vehicle driveway, unless, at the time of such cutting or breaking of the curb, there is installed thereat a paved concrete driveway the full width of such cut, extending from the curb line to the front property line of the abutting property, in design and workmanship in accordance with good engineering standards, city specifications, and provide for continuity of sidewalks, existing or required.
