The city of South Bend shall enforce the provisions of the "state fireworks law" and hereby adopts the provisions of Chapter 70.77 RCW and Chapter 212-17 WAC in their entirety.

The chief of police of the city of South Bend, Washington is herewith charged with the enforcement, regulation and licensing the sale and use of fireworks.

The mayor, after consulting with the fire chief, police chief and other officials as may be deemed appropriate, may prohibit the discharge of all fireworks during periods of extreme fire danger or may choose a designated location within the city limits for the purposes of discharging legal fireworks.
