§ 4.40.010 Members – Appointment.

The mayor shall appoint three members of the city council to serve on the hearing board in conjunction with three members of the county council to consider applications for open space classification as authorized in chapter 84.34 RCW.

§ 4.40.020 Members – Tenure.

The members appointed as set out in DMMC § 4.40.010 shall serve as long as the appointee is a member of the city council.

§ 4.40.030 Open space applications – Processing rules and regulations.

The processing of all open space applications shall be in accordance with the provisions of chapter 84.34 RCW and all applicable ordinances of King County, Washington.

§ 4.40.040 Open space applications – Fee.

A separate fee shall not be charged by the city for an open space application.

§ 4.40.050 Open space applications – Hearings.

All public hearings required under chapter 84.34 RCW shall be held within the city limits and shall begin at the hour at which the city council holds its regular meetings.
