The City Council declares that it desires to qualify to receive aid from the State under the provisions of Cal. Penal Code Part 4, Title 4, Chapter 1.

The City will adhere to the standards for recruitment and training established by the State Commission on Peace Officer Standards and Training created pursuant to Cal. Penal Code § 13500 and as that section may be amended from time to time.
