(a) 
Regular Business Meetings. The City Council shall meet regularly to conduct official business and to take action thereon on the first and third Wednesday of each calendar month commencing at 5:00 p.m. at the designated Council Chambers or the City Council Conference Room located at the Norm Dicks Government Center, 345 6th Street, Bremerton, Washington ("City Hall"), or any other place within the corporate limits of the City as provided in the public notice of meeting.
(b) 
Study Sessions. Study sessions of the City Council shall be held on the second and fourth Wednesday of each month at 5:00 p.m. at City Hall, or any other place within the corporate limits of the City as provided in the public notice of meeting, to discuss administrative matters and/or to review and discuss items to be considered at future regular business meetings.
(c) 
Holidays and Cancellation of Meetings.
(1) 
There shall be no regular meeting of the City Council during the week of Thanksgiving.
(2) 
If at any time any regular meeting of the City Council falls on a legal holiday, then pursuant to RCW 42.30.070 such regular meeting shall be held on the next business day.
(3) 
The City Council may, at its discretion, cancel a regular meeting due to circumstances deemed warranted by the Council by providing notice of cancellation in the same manner as notice of agendas of regular council meetings pursuant to subsection (d) of this section.
(d) 
Agendas and Notice of Regular Meetings. A regularly scheduled City Council business meeting may consist of a briefing session, study session, general business session, public hearing, a combination thereof, or any other format as established by the City Council as noted in the Council agenda. Notices of agendas of all regular meetings shall be delivered to the local television station and local newspaper of general circulation by mail, facsimile, electronic mail or other similar means.

Pursuant to RCW 42.30.080, special meetings of the City Council may be held, after public notice has been given, at a time and place as specified in the notice of meeting.

The City Council may, by rule or procedure, establish Council committees, and procedures for such committees, to assist the City Council in conducting its business.

The City Council may adopt any rules and procedures it deems appropriate to implement the provisions of the City Charter and this chapter relating to Council meetings and Council business.

Council member salary schedules shall be established and filed with the City Clerk by the Bremerton Citizen's Commission on Council Salaries pursuant to the Charter.
