Pursuant to the provisions of California Penal Code Section 836.5, the Director of the Department of Parks, Open Space, and Cultural Services and their delegated subordinates are authorized to enforce the provisions of the Vehicle Code for illegal parking in the beach areas and issue citations for such violations.
