Upon those streets, parts of streets and in those alleys described in AMC § 10.15.090, vehicular traffic shall move only in the indicated direction when proper signs indicating the direction of traffic are erected and maintained at every intersection where movement in the opposite direction is prohibited.

Every driver of a vehicle approaching a stop or yield sign at an intersection shall stop or yield, as the case may be, at such sign or at a clearly marked stop line before entering the intersection except when directed to proceed by a police officer or traffic-control signal.

It is unlawful for any person to operate on any street of the city paved with asphalt or other bituminous mixture when the combined weight of the vehicle and load, including the driver, is more than 10,000 pounds, unless the driver has, in advance of such driving, first obtained a permit for such travel from the city.
