In addition to the grounds listed in RCW 46.55.113(2), whenever the driver of a vehicle is arrested for a violation of:
A. 
Driving while license suspended or revoked (DWLS/R) as defined in RCW 46.20.342; or
B. 
Driving under other license while license suspended or revoked (DUOLWLS/R) as defined in RCW 46.20.345;
The police officer may take custody of the vehicle, at the officer's discretion, and provide for its prompt removal to a place of safety.
