This chapter outlines the land uses allowed within the C-1, ORT, TR, LI, M-1, and P zones, as well as any other zones intended to facilitate, commercial, employment, or public activities. While the subsequent zone chapters also explicitly state which uses are allowed in the zone, this chapter aims to illustrate the difference in allowed uses through easy-to-read tables.

When doubt emerges as to whether a proposed use is similar to one allowed within a zone, the planning commission shall make a finding, determining whether the proposed use is consistent with an already allowed use or the overall intent of the zone.
